bloom sessions.
live at brighton hippodrome
Brighton Hippodrome opened in 1901 as a circus venue and went on to host some of the most iconic acts of the 60s & 70s, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and The Who. It became a much-loved live music venue before closing its doors for good in 2006.
Restoration plans are well underway, but the doors haven't been opened to the public since it closed. In May 2025, timed with The Great Escape festival, I was given exclusive permission to spend a day filming live music sessions inside.
